Meet Nataly Mojica, our new WBC DFW business advisor

We are proud to announce a team addition to our Dallas/Ft. Worth Women’s Business Center. Nataly Mojica has joined as our new business advisor. In her new role, Nataly is responsible for community outreach and advising small business owners and entrepreneurs with startup assistance, growth strategies, and access to capital.

Nataly is no stranger to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Prior to joining the LiftFund family, Nataly worked within the CDFI lending space as a Loan Officer and served as a Community Economic Development Volunteer with Peace Corps in Colombia working in rural communities to promote entrepreneurship and financial literacy. And, as a born and raised Dallasite, Nataly advocates for small businesses and purposefully uses her platform to serve, grow, and empower the small business ecosystem in her community.

We interviewed Nataly to share more about her role and passion for entrepreneurship.

LiftFund WBC: Nataly, we are excited to have you join the WBC family since we share a passion to empower women entrepreneurs. Tell us what inspires you the most about your new role.

Nataly: The privilege of being able to work with small business owners and entrepreneurs. I grew up in a home with entrepreneurial parents who continue to sell cakes and provide event catering and decoration. This work feels like home.

LiftFund WBC: What are you passionate about?

Nataly: I love all things community economic development and how entrepreneurship can be a vehicle for economic mobility and generational wealth.

LiftFund WBC: What advice would you give women who are thinking about starting a business?

Nataly: Nothing about your business is “small”. Even though you are starting or currently own a “small” business, always run and operate it like it’s a BIG business. Make sure you have a team of experts beside you (a Business Advisor, CPA, Lawyer, CDFIs, Bankers, other entrepreneurs, etc). Keep a good record of the financials of the business from the start. Create and edit your business plan and ideas throughout the life of your business. Start Small, Think BIG!

LiftFund WBC: What do you wish other people knew about the DFW Women’s Business Center?

Nataly: I believe a small business is more likely to be successful if they have a team of experts – a village – to support along the way. The Women’s Business Center can and wants to be a part of your village.

LiftFund WBC: What do you do when you are not supporting other women business owners?

I spend time with my daughter, Nora, and my family and friends. I enjoy playing soccer and dancing.

Nataly is excited to visit with you and help you accomplish your business goals. Ready to meet with Nataly? Schedule your appointment now.
