Latino Businesses & 2020: Navigating the New Economy

The past six months have challenged every corner of the U.S. economy. This is especially true for women and minority-owned businesses, which account for more than 40% of all employers.

On Diez y Seis, September 16 at noon, we hosted national small business leaders Ramiro Cavazos, President/CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of CommerceNoel Poyo Executive Director of the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders, and LiftFund’s President & CEO Janie Barrera to address the current state of Latino-owned businesses in this new economy. They were joined by LiftFund clients Michelle Quiroz, owner of Reserva Coffee Roasters, in McAllen and Cindy Rodriguez, owner of Mission Glass in San Antonio.

The discussion was be moderated by Robert Rivard, Publisher and Editor of the San Antonio Report.
