Chief Credit Officer
Nelly Rojas-Moreno is Chief Credit Officer for Liftfund As CCO, she is responsible for development and management of overall credit strategy and credit risk management for the organization. She oversees the underwriting, closing and asset recovery operations. Her specialty is small business lending and risk analysis; she has developed most of the organization’s underwriting policies and procedures. During her 12 years at Liftfund, she has seen the organization grow to become the largest nonprofit micro-lender in the United States; and actively participated in the development of Microloan Management Services (MMS) Division and the SBA 504 program.
Rojas-Moreno earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from Our Lady of the Lake University, where she also completed the courses to earn a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi in Mexico. She is currently participating in the Annie Casey Leadership Learning Network class of 2013.
Her additional certifications and training include: SBA 504 Loan Packaging, NADCO; SBA 504 Credit Analysis, NADCO; and Economic Development Finance, National Development Council.
