City of Leon Valley Zero Percent Interest Loan Program

The City of Leon Valley and LiftFund are partnering to support small business owners and entrepreneurs with funding to reach their business goals.

Businesses must be in operation and generating sales tax*

Eligibility:

Must be an existing and/or start-up business.
Business must be registered with County and State, if applicable.
Business must generate sales tax.
Businesses must be located, or relocating within, the city limits of Leon Valley. The business owner(s) does not have to reside within the city limits. The business must be located within the city limits. In the case of homebased businesses, the business must be located within the city limits. (Home-based businesses must generate minimum $10,000.00 gross revenue a year).
Business must meet the Small Business Size standard, according to the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Business will aspire to create or retain jobs (including owner) within Leon Valley and will self-report on such.
Business must not be in one of the following industries: adult entertainment, lending, gambling, or marijuana-related business.
Business and business owner must meet credit requirements, according to LiftFund guidelines.
Business must have the capacity to repay the loan.

USE OF FUNDS

The loan funds may be used for the following business-related purposes:

Working capital.
Purchase of heavy machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and inventory.
Purchase of commercial real estate is only acceptable if applicant can serve the loan with a maximum term of 72 months.
